As fans enjoy Super Bowl 2020 in South Florida today they will be well protected by swarms of law enforcement officers from local and surrounding agencies. To help schedule some, one local agency is utilizing it’s ODISS, Off Duty Integrated Scheduling System software from the Public Safety Software Group to help schedule their officers as additional resources for the big game. ODISS is also used by the Jacksonville FL Sheriff’s Office, the third largest agency in Florida to help secure local Jacksonville Jaguars NFL games during football season in addition to scheduling their 1,600 plus officers for over 10,000 other paid off duty jobs, city overtime jobs, special events and other large venues requiring additional police resources paid for by the venue. Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office also utilizes ODISS to schedule one officer per weekday for over 100 Duval County public schools as part of the state of Florida’s “Safe School” program to ensure the safety of their students. The Public Safety Software Group is proud to be part of this effort by providing it’s ODISS cloud based SaaS software solution to assist these Florida based agencies in addition to dozens more across the nation and Canada.
